Dimitrios Katsianis graduated from the Medical School of N.K.U of Athens in July 2006 with the
grade point average “Excellent”.
He completed his mandatory military service in the Hellenic Armed Forces as a Unit Doctor from
February 2007 to February 2008.
From May 2008 to September 2008 he served as a Rural Service Doctor in the Peripheral Health
Unit of Aghios Andreas, Arcadia.
He worked as a Resident in General Surgery in the General Hospital of Tripolis from September
2008 to December 2010.
From May 2011 to May 2016, he worked as a Resident in Neurosurgery in the General Hospital of
Athens “Georgios Gennimatas”
He acquired his Neurosurgery Specialty Title on July 2016.
He has participated with oral presentations and scientific posters in numerous domestic and
international neurosurgical conferences.
From August 2016 up to this day, he has been an Associate Neurosurgeon in Professor Vasilios
Zerris’ team in the “American Medical Center” Hospital of Nicosia, in “HYGEIA” Athens Hospital
and in “MITERA” Athens Hospital.
